+2 steering stem

Alright im 6'1" i ride an 08 TRX450ER special edition running the stock steering stem.... and im tired of having back pains everytime i ride, i hear getting a taller steering stem will help alot. I've been wanting to get one for a while, ive been looking at Houser and Gibson, but i dont like that the Houser stem will only work with the Houser clamp. The Gibsons look good, but i havent heard anything about them. Im kinda on a budget for a while since im building a street/strip mustang, and seeing a $230+ price tag makes me kringe! whats your opinion on what would be a best buy price and quality wise

if it helps, id like to just buy a stem and then use Turner Universal mounts that im getting in a Renthal oversized bar combo pack

Re: +2 steering stem

You might want to look into the Rox Risers, it's a bit cheaper than a full steering stem as well as being able to adjust the angle of the bars front to back.

Re: +2 steering stem

This is a little late...but I am 6'8" and I ride a yfz. I had the exact same thing when I was riding with the stock stem. I got a +2 stem and flexx bars and it is pretty comfortable now. The joke is that my quad has ape-hangers though lol.
